Primped & Primed is a sticky, wax based primer. Wax based primers are great for holding sparkly shadows in place and give you an almost foiled look with out use a sticky base like Glitta Grip.
The photo above is a gift with purchase shade in Pinkie Promise, on the left it is swatched over Primped & Primed and you can really see the sheen/finish pop, on the right is swatched over bare skin. Still pretty but a little more muted and you can't see the pretty sheen and sparkle as well.
For best results: Use fingertip to apply a small amount of primer to cover entire lid, it will feel sticky/tacky. Because this is a sticky primer it makes blending a little more difficult but if you use a fluffy brush and apply a translucent powder to set the crease area then blending is a breeze.

This is my go to primer. Its the best I have ever used. Your shadow will not move and will look gorgeous for hours!
I own about 20 different eye primers and nothing has done justice to the shimmer and sparkle of all my loose pigments. This one finally did. It is an unexpected waxy texture, but it's easy to apply and keeps shimmer and glitter locked down. Wonder where this has been all my life. Tip: if you need to blend over a glitter or shimmer, lightly dust with a colorless powder to cover any primer you may have not covered to give a flawless blend without disrupting your sparkles.
I had no idea what this would be like but I love it! I love this with really glittery pigments. It lasts a longtime and it's easy to apply. You don't have to wait for it to get the perfect tackiness like glue which I love.
I have very watery eyes...so much so that I am constantly wiping away tears. While I finally found a foundation that holds up and good primers, my sparkly shadows would always wash away from my inner and outer corners and start peeling away from the crease (evidently, tears can defy gravity!), even with a great sticky base or foiling liquid medium. Enter this miracle. No matter how bad the waters flow, my shadows don't move! Now, I do use a regular primer on first and set that with powder and a fluffy brush before applying this, but the combo is foolproof. Another pro of this type of base is that there's no wait time to apply like there is with a sticky base. Give this a shot...you won't regret it!
the texture of this is different from any foiling primer I've ever used but I have to say it works! I love to use it in the center of lid to make one special shadow really shine. great if you want an intense foiled look
This stuff is magic ! It really brings out the sheen of some pigments and makes glitter stay put! I have worn it a good 8+ hours ,through working out and working ...and it didn`t crease at all on my oily lids,a little goes a long way too ! I have highly recommend this stuff!
