Golden North Pucker Paint - Haunted America (Limited Edition)

$13.75

I'm so excited to be doing this series! I've been obsessed with haunted houses since I was a little girl. I was convinced that the house I grew up in was haunted but my dad always just said I had a wild imagination. I beg to differ haha needless to say I'm squeeing with delight to get to research creepy places all across the United States!

Golden North Hotel

Location: Skagway, Alaska

Built: 1898

Operated: 1898-2002

History: Skagway exploded in 1897 during the Klondike Gold Rush. The Golden North Hotel was built at the height of the rush, providing accommodation for prospects passing through the city. In 1908, it was moved to its current location and operated as a hotel until 2002.

Paranormal Claims:

The Golden North Hotel saw many guests during it’s heyday, which helped perpetuate stories of the ghostly encounters experienced while staying at the hotel. There are two main hauntings of Golden North, with the haunting in Room 23 by the spirit “Mary” being the most popular. It is believed that Mary was the fiance of a prospect, often referred to as “Klondike Ike”. The couple traveled to Skagway and Mary took residence in Room 23 while the prospect went out to the gold fields. There are many variations of the story, but ultimately Mary died waiting for her fiance to return. “Scary Mary” is said to roam the hallways of the hotel or watch at the window for the prospect’s return. Some have heard mysterious noises, felt blasts of cold air, and some guests that stay in the room claim to have felt like they’re choking.

Pucker Paints are light weight liquid lipstick that glide on silky smooth and dry down to a matte finish. Unlike a lot of matte lip products these will not leave you running for the lip balm moments after applying.
