Blue Flame - My husband and I used to go for lots of drives and being in Texas means we would drive by a lot of refineries. I always thought the blue flames coming out of the stacks was so pretty and that was the inspiration for this shade. It's a deep indigo base with fiery red overlay.
Blue Flame is kind of a finicky shadow. I think a lot of its beauty is in its imperfection.
Tips for using Blue Flame - You definitely need an eye primer or you will end up with a muddy blue mess.
Using a regular primer you will see more of the blue peeking through the red sheen.
Using a sticky base or sticky primer the red sheen really pops and kind of takes over.
Embellished works really well with it if you want to see more of the blue peeking through.

Beautiful, blendable, i love the color shift. The picture says it all.
This is the color of my dreams, seriously. It's such an amazing color and so unique. The red does blend away like crazy though, even with a sticky base (I use Nyx Glitter Primer). You have to be VERY careful with it in that regard, but it's totally worth it in the end. It also makes a cool liner if you want something different.
this color foiled defies explanation sheerer its purple in some light blue then red, it's amazing by itself with just black liner if you want to make a very intense statement
This is one of my favourite duochrome of all time. The shift is incredible, it's simply magical!
I love this it is the most amazing color ever, impossible to photograph it's true beauty its both midnight blue and purpley red all at once, love it as an eyeliner
